Feisty, definitely. But as a spaniel he’s a bit porky , long in the torso, and peculiar around the nose. I’ll work on the feathers and hope my groomer overlooks the other non-standard features! But thanks. Xmas beckons 🙃

I’m still learning new techniques in knitting! I typically have at least one project where I have to learn something new, like double knitting with both hands, and something relaxing using a familiar technique with yarn that makes my hands happy. 😉

Those can be every bit as challenging as sweaters! Maybe a baby sweater would be a way to start moving into a knitting project that involves working on separate pieces of a project, and then assembling them. Most local yarn stores are happy to help beginners, so long as you buy your yarn from them!

Thanks. I can’t craw-chett worth beans 🤪. Do what you love and love what you do 🙃.

I’ve been knitting for over 35 years, and make 3-4 sweaters or other major projects every year, at least 1-2 for me! Cable sweaters never go out of style, so I just keep accumulating them. I never worry about the hours per sweater, because I love the process of making them as much as wearing them.

I’m rooting for the Blue Jays!!! Although Trump will probably get his *alls in a twist no matter who wins the World Series, since he hates California. But wait, he doesn’t have any *alls.

He wants to shut down free speech in Canada the way he has in the USA.

I’d say accuracy is critically important when urinating backwards.

Retromingent pricks, maybe?

I hear you. My Ducky & I recently lost our beloved Calvin. Ducky stopped eating and dropped 8 pounds. We were able to get Cade, the tuxedo-colored 1yr old in the pix. He’s a total scamp, but we’re starting to heal. Each poodle has such a unique and special personality! Like I said, poodle mania!

Absolutely! Don’t doodle around, or as my much-loved breeder says, ‘Why dumb down the breed?’. 😜

Is Stephen Miller Trump’s Rasputin?

I agree! Amazing designers and exquisite yarns make this so much fun. I struggle every day to keep to my vow to finish projects before starting the next one. I have so many patterns saved up 🤪

He figures that if he can survive being outed as a pedophile, whatever Putin has been holding over his head is small change. Speaking of ‘over his head’, golden shower here we come.

Good to know! I don’t mean to disparage Shirley Paden when I say that there are errors in the pattern. Editors can be careless about about pattern details, especially when it comes to space constraints c

I don’t know where the pattern was published. The designer is Shirley Paden, but when I was struggling trying to deal with pattern mistakes, I couldn’t find her name on Ravelry or other online websites. So many knitting magazines have gone out of print that it may not be possible to find it.

Not sure which one looks grey on your screen. The lavender one is a great pattern by Sirdar, #5570 and uses DK weight yarn. The other one is a tweedy ecru and the pattern is one I tore out of a magazine, Knitter’s I think. It’s a Winter 2019 edition, #17. It’s a challenging one, but nice.
