#ShowMeYourKnits #KnitSky #knitting. These are in the category of IFFI (I finally finished it). The snowman (J Greenhowe) is OK 4 the grocer’s toddler: the ??? Cavalier Kng Chas Spaniel is a lame version of Muir/Osborne’s cocker span’l, but my groomer will say it just needs lots of extra grooming!

#ShowMeYourKnits #KnitSky #knitting I’d say more kooky than spooky, but so much fun! The aliens & squirrel patterns are by S. Ishii & pumpkin pattern by S. Gasson. I plan to give the squirrel to a friend’s dog so he can tell other dogs that he finally caught one! 😉

#Knitsky #ShowMeYourKnits #Knitting Like many others on this site, I prefer cowls to scarves. This pattern I adapted from Rosemary Drysdale’s wonderful 1st Entrelac book, spinning the yarn from some multi colored roving I had stashed. It was and continues to be my warmest, most cuddleworthy cowl.

#Knitsky #Knitting #ShowMeYourKnits My WIP. Just have to do the collars. Tore the patt out of an unknown magazine yrs ago, but if you find it & want try it, contact me. Serious errors in the chart; frustrating, but I love it now that I’ve figured it out 😉.

#knitblue #ShowMeYourKnits #Knitting Just finished my 2 summer sweaters. I love the lacy patterns in cotton blends, but I can’t wait to get some cold weather fibers in my fingers. Alpaca? Merino? Cashmere? Decisions, decisions. 😆

#ShowMeYourKnits #Knitsky #Knitting Just made it under the wire for shawl week. Laceweight alpaca from Valley Yarns user a pattern by Anna Victoria. Closed my Etsy shop: now selling at ‘Lace for St. Jude’s’ on Michaels Makerplace, with all proceeds to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Happy birthday #ShowMeYourKnits. This is one of my favorites from last year as I learned to knit 2-handed in classic fair isle style with it. Slowly! #knitsky #knitting

#ShowMeYourKnits #KnitSky #Knitting This is stonewashed lacewt cotton frm Valley Yarns w/ white beads w/ a patt by Anna Victoria. I want to sell it to benefit St Jude’s, but not on Etsy. I hope to open a store on Michael’s Makerplace if I can confirm that they don’t sell Alligator Alcatraz merch.

#knitsky #showmeyourknits For Blue Week, the sweater is my favorite (of too many) blue cardigan. The brioche shawl is my WIP, using Nancy Marchant’ pattern‘Under Dutch Skies’ shawl, available on Ravelry.

#knitsky #showmeyourknits #knitting My WIP is getting there. Halfway thru the lace edging, using lace weight alpaca, Hatfield, by Valley Yarns. Love this Estonian pattern, but sewing the edging onto the center pattern is mega tedious!

#knitsky #showmeyourknits #knitting Just finished this shawl for my StJudesBenefit Etsy site. I love the lace weight alpaca/silk blend from Valley Yarns and, as always, the Anna Victoria pattern. The latter is available on Ravelry, and all her patterns are exquisite!

#knitsky #showmeyourknits #knitting. I don’t seem to have a lot of garter stitch pieces, but I guess this mitered square cowl in garter stitch counts 😉

#knitsky #showmeyourknits This is a shawl I finished using cascade heritage yarn and cobalt beads. The pattern is one of many bought from the genius designer Anna Victoria thru Ravelry. I sell shawls on my Etsy site StJudesBenefit and all proceeds go to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

This is an Estonian pattern from The Haapsalu Shawl using laceweight alpaca yarn from Valley Yarn. It’s a prayer shawl (in progress). Am I being selfish, making a shawl that inspires me? Should I make warmer, sturdier shawl that the recipient will get more use out of?

This is a Sirdar pattern and boucle yarn. I don’t know if the pattern is still available, but it’s one of my favorite sweaters for cool summer mornings. #showmeyourknitting
