I hope this is enough to invalidate that horribly outdated claim.
I have a 3080 and sure it uses more VRAM than it should (Nvidia's fault), but it was WAY easier to install than on Windows (even with plain Arch). I NEVER have to manually update them. It's all handled by the OS' own updates. (6/7)

It was added I think last year and can be any color (depends on distro). Most pick blue.

Can confirm that I have it on Arch Linux (btw).
Only two options now though, could maybe be that my CPU and GPU aren't supported yet (9070 is still not detected by RadeonTop)

@ifixit.com PLEASE change shipping company in Europe! #UPS is absolutely awful and on two separate occasions have they failed to deliver my package because the "address is incorrect" when it really is just their garbage system that can't handle diacritical letters (such as Å, Ä, Ö, etc.).
