No known cases of H5N1 bird flu have been reported in New Jersey’s poultry or dairy cattle.

Out of 10,600 people exposed to H5N1-infected animals, only 540 were tested, and 63 tested positive - a positivity rate over 11%, per the CDC. If all exposed were tested, we’d likely see 10-15 times more cases. Such a high positivity rate also suggests inadequate testing.
