at the end of the day, both parties obstruct liberation every single time when things come to ahead. if you expect Ds to help people you've been bamboozled. Again, look at cop city.

This isnt a new dynamic.
there will be no accountability because there can't be. there will be no effective pressuring campaign because there can't be.
expecting more from Republicans or Democrats is frankly slow motion suicide.

This time is rough for people who have been sounding the alarm about the issues they've worked on for 5, 10, 20 years, etc. It can create resentment to see how party politics kept many from caring as bipartisan collaboration engineered a perfect storm of fascistic terror.

folk who are coddled will not learn. that is the sturdiness.
folk who are traumatized and rebuffed will not be rehabilitated. that is the give.

there must always be a net to catch those falling into what could be a bottomless reactionary pit. it must have the appropriate amount of give and sturdiness to save untold numbers people, so it must always be in production and maintenance.

experiencing the pain of reckoning after having been warned is an awful way to learn hard lessons and truths. it's not the only way. it's not the most effective way. but it will be the way many people find themselves open to the knowledge necessary to survive our times. or worse

Preciate you. I keep forgetting I have this account. Sometimes i think about making the switch, then get exhausted by the effort of transitioning. I'll figure it out.
