Honestly his casting is the only thing that has me excited to see this. Nightcrawler in X2 got me to buy my first comic, he's the only character I care about in this movie.

Such an incredible first two episodes! I'm so excited to see what happens! I love that they didn't shy away from the quiet character driven moments, it's so engaging, and of course the action is really outstanding. Maybe better than the Netflix run? That last scene of episode two, WOW!

Show in Harlem. I really liked it, at the time that particular show of his reminded me a lot of Crumbs style (it was a lot of single strip comics), but the teacher waffled for like five minutes after I said that the only reason she seemed to respect it was because the art was hanging on a wall.

I remember for my freshman year at SVA for cartooning, we were forced to only take fine arts classes. Every day teachers were constantly trying to convince the cartooning students to switch majors because they thought cartooning was a waste of time. One teacher took us to a Trenton Doyle Hancock...

Love the art for the Sin City books but the writing is quite bad. I get it's supposed to be like noir dialogue, but Double Indemnity and Point Blank it is not. Also if you think the Sin City movies are bad, try watching Frank Miller's Spirit movie.
