I was thinking the same thing. Maybe that's what they want, they're trying to start something hoping someone will react.

That's a beautiful area. I used to fish up there sometimes & was thinking about drifting it, but the river is so close I just stick around the islands between sterling RF. If I keep going the same 4 miles, wildlife gets used to me, usually. Lots of hunters this year.

If a law enforcement officer hides their face, they’ve already stepped outside the bounds of public trust. No excuses. No exceptions. In a democracy, power must be visible, accountable, and human. The moment we normalize masked enforcers, we invite fear, not safety. We deserve better.

I have a spot like that for winter eagles when it gets down below zero. Otherwise, I keep on drifting down river, wind in my face half the time. The cold was hard to take last time out, I didn't have all my winter gear on. I hold a small sheet of plexiglass when running up river.

Yeah they're so camouflaged you can hardly see them until they fly away. There has been a lot of them hanging around lately as the migrate through.

I try to go out all winter, even when below zero. I had a good day today, it was worth the trouble.

Yes, it all depends on the water temperature. If the water is cold, it will feel colder. It's down to 42 now.

They're my favorite. Really good at catching fish, make funny sounds and sometimes they put on a show for me. When chased, they just do a dive to lose the chaser.
