#OTD 20 October 1588 died Dame Agnes Saunders, eternally recumbent beside her daughter Dame Elizabeth Brocket(d1612) in St Etheldreda's, Hatfield. Another daughter, Mary, raised the memorial: 'she whom I enclosed in my womb...hath encasd me in this tombe.' #Tudors #WomensHistory
