How would Taylor Cross fix Atlanta?

Many parents are bold enough to believe in equity, but not brave enough to practice it.

If we all sent our kids to the public school in the neighborhood where we live, our city would be a better place for all of us.

Please don’t waste any time, money, or energy on this @atlantabeltline.org. There are so many better ways to invest that to improve the Beltline.

“The issue of pedestrian safety dates to the 1960s, when downtown was redeveloped so commuters could enter and depart on wide roads designed for speedy access to highways.”

We can and should do so much better for our city residents.

Atlanta narrowed three blocks of Peachtree Street in 2021 and installed a crosswalk. Then after opposition, the city converted the road back - partly: The crosswalk wasn’t removed, just left it to fade. Last month, a man was hit by a car in the crosswalk and killed. www.ajc.com/news/health-...

Love this! Would love to see more of it in Atlanta 👀 @andreforatlanta.com
Tactical urbanism is a method for quickly and affordably making small-scale changes to your city, and typically takes place in public spaces like streets, parks, and sidewalks.

We're excited to debut this new video "A Beltline For Everyone!". We were motivated to commission documentary video journalist Adam Shumaker to make it because soon Mayor Dickens will decide whether to move forward with Beltline rail and if so, the look & location. youtu.be/YFJhlZShyNI
