Usually just for ports and tunneled caths. Although sometimes longitudinal is almost your only choice for a regular IJ line when patients don’t have much of a neck to work with.

Sad. Not something that FEMA would be involved with in any way. Presumably named only because of the same misinfo campaign that had people attacking FEMA workers providing aid after floods.

Sure, go ahead and see how many insurance companies will pay out for a “general abdominal health” MRI. I did like the part in the letter about everything “functioning” within normal limits.
