Racism and hate speech have no place in Michigan, or our legislative process. The vile comments made during this testimony are a stark reminder of the work we must do to ensure our Capitol reflects the values of respect and inclusion.
We will not be intimidated.

One of the silver linings of this very unfortunate incident at the MI State Capitol on Thursday is that it may have been a wake up call to some about the fact that racism is still very much alive in our country.
