Dems believe in taking care of our neighbors. MI House Republicans don't. Their actions speak loud & clear: it sure isn't neighborly to rip away money from local nonprofits that help vulnerable Michiganders — families, seniors, kids.

Protecting kids should never be political. Michigan House Republicans cut funding from organizations that support children going through the unspeakable — programs that provide care, counseling and justice. Survivors deserve compassion and support, not cruel GOP clawbacks.

Health care is supposed to be about people, not politics. By stripping millions in resources, the MI House GOP pulled the rug out from under local hospitals that are already stretched thin, especially in rural communities. House Dems will continue fighting for accessible care.

Let's be real, families are stretched thin. Matt Hall ripped away $645M in already promised funds that could have helped communities across the state. Sending Michigan dollars back to DC while people struggle isn't leadership; it's a choice.

Expecting a baby shouldn't come with extra uncertainty, yet House Republicans stripped hundreds of millions of dollars from local resource providers, including support for expectant moms and new families. Providing less support at the time when folks need it most is unreal.

You can tell a lot about someone by their priorities. With costs up for, well, everything, House Republicans decided now was the time to claw back $645 million in community funds. Less help for Michiganders, more political games.
