Today in clinic a 92 year old patient with CKD told us she started taking ibuprofen for her arthritis “after they said on the TV not to take Tylenol anymore” we had to inform her that no it is, in fact, not safe to take ibuprofen with end stage renal dysfunction and go please use tylenol
