One of the books we were assigned to read in school was Jane Eyre.
Couldn't get through it... I bought the Cliffs Notes and couldn't even get through that.
Remembering this recently I tried to read the plot synopsis on Wikipedia. Even that, 20yrs later, is still too long.

Good luck to anyone with a USPS registered letter going through Dallas apparently.... Was quoted Dec 1st as a delivery date "because it'll take a little bit longer with the holiday" ...and at the time, I thought she was referring to Thanksgiving. Now I wonder if she meant Christmas.

In Omaha, the Omaha Steaks are just called steaks. The brand makes sense in places with rougher quality beef, but it is literally nothing special. Maybe half a point higher than supermarket beef at a much higher price.

At a Hobby Shop and I can't help but notice that the parking lot is 3/4 larger trucks, and nearly every non-child patron is an older white guy ranging from 38-60ish who is no taller than 5'9".
Not hating... I'm pretty much one of them, it's just very apparent.

We have a big outdoor concert here every summer in Omaha called the Maha Festival... It's a lot of fun!
I will say though, that the MAHA stuff has sorta ruined that name for me.

When we do headshots, we have folks fill out a slate sheet with their name, their group and the date.
Had a bunch of "Performance Management" folks come through, and I'll be damned if every single one of them didn't have to scratch out at least one thing and rewrite it in above or to the side.

My DM and I just created an NPC. A sentient rock that is my project manager and butler for the party's fort. He was Awakened with a corrupted spell by another Druid with a bad moral compass, and my character felt somewhat responsible.
He's gonna be mostly useless, but totally funny.

I broke my glasses about 4 months ago and have been too lazy to go to the opthamologist. - I'd be more ashamed of my broken glasses if I hadn't made some pretty capable repairs.
