I really need a new computer but I'm dreading having to switch to Windows 11. It's insane that they've seriously pivoted to vibecoding updates to their OS. Really need the entire world to move past the whole AI thing.

I've been getting kinda better at dealing with it, but if my works ever got popular enough that people were showering their praises on me constantly, there's a pretty decent chance that that would legitimately cause me to spiral. lol

I'm kind of in the same boat, except I have difficulty with compliments. It just causes alarm bells to go off. Being forced to go on a missionary trip in college that turned out to be culty made it worse (all the lovebombing, constant empty compliments from strangers, etc).

Five Tribes, Biblios, Keyflower, and Altered TCG are all auction games that work pretty well at 2 players! I actually made a mini abstract game with blind bid combat as well.

Really sucks because my connection to the JP and KR tabletop scenes and also the TCG scene sans a couple of people has effectively been severed. Wouldn't be a problem if everyone was on bsky, but bsky just had to scare everyone off by handing out random bans to non-English speakers.

No matter how insulting my words, I cannot express the full scale of my disgust for the gaggle of incompetent wishful thinkers who have dedicated themselves to the ruin of an entire medium by way of their horrific leadership.

It is a comprehensive disgust. A disgust of overwhelming depth.

It’s endlessly frustrating to see some of the dumbest motherfuckers alive in charge of the industry. Utter fantasists who invest in a new Springfield Monorail every day and lay off hundreds of people to pay for their stupidity.

For a bunch of con artists, game execs are such fucking marks.
