The shipping is pretty extortionate and £50 import duty on top. With that and all the delay I was almost regretting pre-ordering it but all said and done I actually am glad I did. It is really good. If you like the N64 it’s worth it I’d say.

A woman genuinely laughed at me as I handed over £10 to her for a Sony Trinitron about 10 years ago. My wife was in the car as I put it in the boot and was wondering what the hell I was doing. Same tv regularly listed over £300 now.

The whole thing seemed almost surreal. Like an event that might be in a Naked Gun film. Someone dressed as Wayne Gretzky is going to kill the president whilst receiving the FIFA peace award. Only Frank Drebin can stop him.

I just had a look out of interest and they have lots of nice Japan NT shirts in stock. Definitely worth a look but if you sit tight, they will definitely have a sale soon.

Sorry, Classic Football Shirts. They can be expensive but football shirts just are in general now, as I know you know. They often have good prices on shirts from ‘new but not latest’ seasons etc.

Always interested to see what people think of it. It ended up being my favourite of last gen but hard to say why. Wasn’t the story (even that was quite affecting at the end though). I just loved building the roads and zip wires etc - something about loading up and finding someone had ‘helped’.

I don’t know if this is true but it certainly fits the narrative that gets a lot of utter losers frothing at the mouth and engaging with this crap, so I’m posting it.

I used to know a guy who was a club DJ in the 80s. He told me a story once about a guy who came in to the booth with a suitcase that had a phone inside it. With a handset and cable attached and everything.

I only ever had the Japanese version, so never felt the need to change them. The names on that version must be pretty close to the real ones, based on what the commentator says.

Imo it’s the intellectual gate keeping that’s long existed in music and film etc creeping into gaming. See it in sport now as well. They’re fans but not in the way normal people are you see. They understand it more.

The take on the soundtrack is ridiculous given how it’s renowned as one of the best uses of licensed music in the history of gaming.

I couldn’t resist trying it out a while back. Paired it up with the steam deck and played some N64 games. Not quite like the OG but feels very nice all the same.
