Came across this FASCINATING photo NASA took on Mars back in 2001. Was part of almost 90,000 pictures, which is my guess as to why I hadn't heard of it before. Photo shows an area about 3km wide, which would make the structure around 2km/side, and about as thick as the Great Wall of China.

Trees do not play around, y'all. My central U.S. folks, not only do we need to prepare for ice and snow but wind, too. This storm is going to bring down a lot of trees, please be careful.
