That school was the only one to give me a scholarship to study music, even if it was only $500 a year. Seeing it go from a college, to a university, and now shedding its music program entirely. I feel conflicted even if I never felt like I was welcome there.

Those were the loneliest years of my life, but I met some great people regardless. My composition Prof went out of her way when I had an emotional breakdown and I thank her for that.
Seeing her lose her job through no fault of her own kinda hurts… a lot.

On one side, they built me up for three years that everyone should support everyone, so I went to every Senior Recital, missing only one and I apologized profusely to the person afterwards.
For mine? Only people to show up were family, a few profs, and friends from other majors.

Fair enough. I’m trying to actually get more demos and stuff done so I can share things with others because I feel so silent and that isn’t a good thing.

Also it opens up the ability to buy CDs from indie artists that may not have the $$$ to put everything on streaming platforms, too.

I’ve actually thought of changing things up a bit since I may have to sing on stage, so need to open things up in the mouth area. This was originally designed to be more of a design that was more for performing with my hands than voice.
