I had to do a similar prior auth today for cyclobenzaprine for muscle spasms for sciatica. $2.42 for #30 is the Good Rx cash price. It was approved in 1977, and went generic about 40 years ago. I hate health Insurances so much.

I just learned another sad fact from this video - it's illegal for physicians to own hospitals. Scary stuff.

The big health corporations spend a LOT of money on making sure any negative health coverage includes "doctors" as the culprit. Even in all the articles going around currently about claim denials they use the term "doctors" when actually they mean claim reviewers employed by the insurance.

I'm in Southern California in an UC and we are also seeing it in all ages. And so much strep pneumonia. It's amazing to me how global the patterns of respiratory infections are.
