The power of doulas!!!! Studies have shown how having a doula positively impacts birth and pregnancy outcomes, but also postpartum outcomes. Excited to see this work happening in my hometown!
Cook County Health is partnering with Prism Health Care to provide a pilot program where pregnant patients with free doula care and bridge the maternal health gap between Black and White mothers.
