🌹 Labour MP for Tooting
👩‍⚕️ A&E Doctor
🏡 Born and raised in Tooting
📧 rosena@drrosena.co.uk "Rosena" rhymes with "tenner" (she/her)

Promoted by Tooting Labour Party, at 89 Bickersteth Road, SW17 9SH
Patients deserve dignity - not a trolley in a hallway. Years of neglect has left A&Es stretched. To drive up standards, the Government must end corridor care for good.

Proud to chair the @appgemergencycare.bsky.social - our corridor care report is out today.

Recent accidental releases from Wandsworth Prison are deeply concerning. These problems are nothing new - for years, I have been ringing alarm bells.

With both individuals now back behind bars, we need urgent action to improve the prison.

Every Londoner must be able to trust the Met. 26 years after the Macpherson Report, the fact that racism still persists in the Met Police is shameful. We must see change, and fast. Senior leaders must detail how they’ll tackle this head-on.

Recent reports of atrocities and massacres in Sudan are horrifying. The UK and wider international community must make every effort to end this senseless killing and ensure that civilians are protected.

Following reports that a prisoner has been mistakenly released from Wandsworth Prison, I have written directly to the Justice Secretary and the Home Secretary to raise the concerns that will be felt by many local residents.

Congratulations to Zohran Mamdani on his big election win in NYC!

New Yorkers have rejected the vile Islamophobia and racism that have been slung in this campaign, and elected a progressive voice that will advocate for their communities.

Honoured to attend Wimbledon Synagogue, alongside Council Leaders, MPs and faith leaders from many religious communities, for their Civic Ceremony.

We're defined by our shared values of tolerance, respect and humanity. We can never allow those who seek to divide us to win.

Events that unfolded in Huntingdon last night were horrifying.

I am thinking of those affected and their loved ones. Wishing them a speedy recovery.

Tooting Town Centre acts as a hub for our community but we have seen a number of shops leave the high street.

That is why I have written to Wandsworth Council and the Department for Business and Trade to request more support for Tooting to help keep our area vibrant and unique.

My thoughts today are with Prunella’s loved ones. She was a stalwart of Wandsworth Labour and will be dearly missed by us all.

It is fantastic news that Lavender Hill Police Station will remain open for local residents to use when they need an officer.

Huge credit must go to my friend @marshadecordova.bsky.social for her relentless campaign to save the Station.

The scenes today of people being freed and reunited with loved ones was deeply moving. This is a pivotal moment and all efforts must be focused on getting aid in, rebuilding Gaza and securing permanent peace.

Spending half your salary on rent is simply unsustainable, yet is the reality for many across Wandsworth.

Labour is committed to building the stable, affordable homes our communities desperately need. This isn't just about bricks and mortar - it's about the security of a home.

Spending time with young people in my community is one of the best parts of my job.

It was fantastic to meet pupils at Fircroft Primary School recently. We spoke about what it’s like to be the local MP, why I wanted to be a doctor and life in Tooting.

I remember the scramble for PPE during Covid - NHS staff risked their lives, some died. All while Tories gave their mates VIP access to profiteer from the pandemic.

This Labour Government is serious about going after misspent COVID cash.
