What is his obsession with pull ups? Also, are we dressing up at the airport for him and Duffy or not? I’m not putting on a suit so I can do pull ups. lol

I’m kinda shocked how wide the spread is. All demographics have a fair amount of betters.

The coverage of him wasn’t exactly spectacular, either (imo). On Instagram, it feels like posts keep trying to show him and Alcaraz to suggest he’s particularly fond of him over Team Europe, yet he also looks disengaged when interacting with Team World. I didn’t feel it was the best Roger coverage.

I personally think Agassi gives them some sense of renewed confidence and command of their game. They are all independently great players but they are all making noticeable showings this weekend.

I hope Reilly wins. Losing him on council and still having Toni running the county is a double loss I would prefer not to see.

This is going to be underreported but a pretty big deal.

I would imagine as a global brand (I know wealthy Americans are a sizable demographic), this can’t help their global image, right?

WHAT?! This is the first time I’m hearing this!

Two things: 1) the graphic designer obvi liked Novak because he looks great; 2) justice for Fritz. 🤣

We need to try to get more engagement here to start the conversation. Surprisingly so few use both platforms.

The police and fire pensions are projected to decrease to 18% funded if he signed. It’s projected to at worst bottom out if the market has severe turbulence. Given the indicators this morning, he really decided to lock on to cataclysmic disaster if Chicago faces worse headwinds.

It has! I would like to see Fritz have a good run. I’m particularly interested in seeing if Alcaraz is going to be the crazy comeback kid the entire tournament.

I’m happy he pulled through. I was nervous that loss of momentum would be mentally draining for him on day 2.

I feel like Mamdani is going to win, and I feel like collectively we learned nothing from MBJ in Chicago. The reflex to Trumpism continues.

That has crossed my mind, too. It must be dreadful to see Federer and Nadal to retire, all for Alcaraz and Sinner to ascend to a new level of greatness. The Big 3 cast them to the side for many of their prime playing years.
June 11, 2025 at 6:24 PM
I went in rooting for Sinner, but I at least felt if he lost (and obvi we now know he did) that I would be happy for Alcaraz. Both were outstanding faces of the game and giving us so much to look forward to as they bring tennis to an even higher level of gameplay.
