"Farewell". Really?

Suleiman al-Obeid was killed by the IDF as he was queuing for food in Gaza. Say it, you cowards.

Wow, this is so powerful. Mandy Patinkin is outstanding. Watch till the end.

Listen to the outrage, despair, and yes, fear, in his voice.

That is the sound of a person with a conscience. All our voices should sound like this!

*I had to screen record it from X. I couldn't find it anywhere else 🤷‍♀️

Great scoop for The Atlantic and @JeffreyGoldberg … not so great for American war planning … “the Trump administration planned its strikes on the Houthis using a group chat—and accidentally included The Atlantic’s editor in chief, @JeffreyGoldberg.”

Perhaps the first philosophy department to be flagging the issue of menopause? Menopause raises many ethical issues concerning, for example, inequality, discrimination, sexism, ageism and, not least, women’s health and wellbeing. Good to see that Philosophy in Galway is part of the conversation.

Trump on paper straws:
"These things don't work, I've had them many times, and on occasion, they break, they explode. If something's hot, they don't last very long, like a matter of minutes, sometimes a matter of seconds. It's a ridiculous situation,"
Stupefyingly absurd.
Donald Trump signs order shifting US back towards plastic straws
The president has long been a critic of paper straws, which he says don't work and dissolve too easily.
