American Left has to Understand the US govt. tries to influence the Indian elite, so that they may influence the Indian govt., but the Indian elite is Brahmin-Bania nexus who have Brahmanism/Hindutva as their core mindset, funding these guys instead of true beneficiary only adds fuel to the fire!

BJP Cabinet ministers were partnering with USAID projects, now you can say that they are the government, so USAID orgs have to partner with them but why are they partnering with Reliance, it's a private player and moreover a Big Funder of BJP & Hindutva!
USAID is definitely behind Hindu nationalism!
February 19, 2025 at 5:16 PM
Former US ambassador to India Kenneth Juster saying most of senior govt. official's Kids are settled in USA, and mind you most of them are UC elites, top bureaucrats and ministers, USAID was funding all that.
Now Instead of US funding really downtrodden they were funding education of elite's kids!

Even if some folks from that list come out to be SC/ST/OBCs, You can see the proportional disparity between percent populace of SC/ST/OBCs as I mentioned above and the no. of people actual SC/ST/OBCs in that list!

Surnames like shukla, goyal, malhotra, garg etc.
Rest of the surnames are Christian and so I can't establish their castes on surname alone, but be aware there is Casteism in Christianity in India too, they make separate churches and there is a category of folks who are 'Roman Catholic brahmins'
February 12, 2025 at 5:24 AM
These are tentative Castes based on my empiric observation of surname alone, although there are additional ways one can sus out castes, mainly by asking native village esp. in south India as there are caste based villages.
Also absolute lack of obvious SC/ST surnames, there are more obvious UC

No.25- Dr. geeta Verma- May be either Kshatriya (2nd varna) or sometimes I have seen this surname in STs

No.40- Prerna Kumar-see 13
February 12, 2025 at 5:24 AM
Surnames whose caste Iam not sure of because they are of south india or commonly used irrespective of castes except Brahmins and vaishyas:
No.2-Dr. Ramya Ananthkrishnan- South Indian
No.13- Harish Kumar- Not Brahmin/Vaishya, could be either Kshatriya or other

No.37 Anil Kumar Bansal- Vaishya
OBCs that are not creamy layer(rich above 8 lak per annum rs income) and considered on par with UCs, but still low status in Hinduism:
No.14: Dr. Vivek Yadav- Sometimes Yadavs are non creamy OBCs
No.16 Sheeja Nair- Nair caste OBCs in kerala
No.22 Manoj Dabas-Jat OBC
February 12, 2025 at 5:24 AM

OBCs (Other Backward Castes): They typically make the lowest varna of Vedic caste system, the shudras, they are around 52% of Indian populace, also includes economically backward religious minorities like muslims.
UCs(upper castes)/general: Mainly consist of upper 3 varnas of caste system, make 15%
February 12, 2025 at 5:24 AM
Yep for Non Indians
SCs (scheduled castes): All the castes who were considered untouchables, outside 4 varnas of caste system, they are around 19-21% of Populace
STs (scheduled tribes): All the people who were tribals and lived outside of towns and villages, typically in forests, 11-13% of populace.

@thebadromance.bsky.social @comradeinji.bsky.social Guys check this list all Major USAID was being handled by UCs, not one SC/ST/OBCs in this list.
February 8, 2025 at 12:53 AM
TB was mostly govt. run with NTEP running all DOTS centers.
HIV it was all NACO who I saw conducting programs in CHCs.
You sure the USAID was being actually directed to the needy?
Iam having serious doubts seeing all these top posts being hegemonized by Upper castes, there's no SC/ST/OBC in that list
February 8, 2025 at 12:49 AM
Honestly, I have never seen any of them actively working in field, especially those related to TB and HIV.
I have been in field work in both most backward rural villages and in urban ghettos, I have seen work in PHCs, CHCs and medical colleges but never encountered these orgs.

You think she cares?
She's a second lady, in a powerful position politically.
She's just like those GC holding Indians who voted red to pull up the ladder for incoming Indian immigrants.
She got her way, let others pay.
