I asked my hubby to create a painting that embodies feelings of calmness. It’s called “Release” - when I look at it, it gives me the feeling similar to a deep exhale. It’s hung on the wall above the stairs, so as I walk down, it’s a beautiful reminder to let the day go.

Felt it necessary to post this today as we approach January 20. There is SO much we can not control, but how we choose to spend our time and energy is ALWAYS in our control.
