I loved designing cover copy when I was on staff at DC Comics. Here's a small sampling of some that I did while there.

I drive by this camper all the time which is parked in someone’s driveway. Today I noticed the smoke coming out the makeshift chimney. Either someone lives in it or they’re cooking crystal meth inside…or both!

Finally received this fantastic Susan Abbott print which I ordered a while back. She’s a Vermont based artist and I love her use of color!

I'm back working on a short story for a certain Themysciran so here's some balloons with no dialogue from the story. I used to letter so many stories with this character but nowadays they don't seem to use me as much...Oh, well, at least I'm lettering this story.

A man passes out in the Oval Office during a press conference and this is old pumpkin head's reaction....what a narcissistic a-hole!

Republicans always seem to bring up how afraid of Socialism they are yet what about these examples of Socialism in the U.S. really scare them? There are different forms of Socialism they don't seem to understand.

I was bidding on this great looking Mister X page by Jaime Hernandez tonight…until it too rich for my blood. :(

Now on the turntable—Robyn Hitchcock and Andy Partridge’s Planet England EP. Seems to be a one-off at this point but I think more music was planned.

Great to see that Democrats have won a few recent victories but just remember—we have to keep pushing on!

Now on the turntable—the excellent Dukes of the Stratosphere with 25 O’clock! The Dukes are the psychedelic alter ego of XTC for those in the know.

Some hand drawn SFX I did a couple of years ago which I eventually sold on eBay.

The current version of Steranko is a bit of a loon but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy his art. I got the French adaptation of Outland a while back which originally appeared in Heavy Metal in the early 80s. At only 48 pages it still packs a punch with all the double page spreads inside!

Watching an excellent British film noir right now—Brighton Rock—and Richard Attenborough is so excellently menacing in it!

When I was a kid there was one house that I had to go to every Halloween because instead of giving out candy they would give out comic books. I distinctly remember getting this one and being overjoyed! I still have it too.
