Massie: Previous presidents told us to go to war over WMDs that did not exist. Now it's the same playbook. Except we're told that drugs are the WMDs. If it were about drugs, we'd bomb Mexico or China or Colombia. This is about oil and regime change.

Data on high risk behavior by unlicensed drivers in WA state. I wish we would focus less on the bad choices by individuals and more on the bad choices that we’ve made as a society to make driving the only reliable option in most of US communities to get anywhere.

This whole Gulf of Mexico debacle reminds me that the USA calls the river bordering the south of Texas the Rio Grande, while México calls it the Rio Bravo. So somehow I get the feeling Mexicans are used to this sort of thing.
