Importantly, the authors identify that behavioural kindness without matching teleology (kind intent),

'...which create the underlying conditions for fake kindness... will also foster a context propitious to bullying.'

I think that's the pitfall of behavioural #BeKind and #Civility strategies.🤔

Behavioural kindness- outward actions of caring- can act as symbolic violence that reinforce power by limiting social repertoire available to recipients.

Teleological kindness is action motivated by an *intent* to help.

Behavioural kindness without teleology= enforced 'niceness' or 'civility'.
