You seem unwilling to admit that the narrative is a lot muddier now and that bad Trump policies have Democratic fingerprints on them, not to mention that Democratic voters who will face skyrocketing health care costs will feel deceived and betrayed.

The shutdown was about leveraging that extension and now the effort has been abandoned. It’s a distinction without a difference.

Perhaps but millions will also be priced out of the market for health insurance, many will get sick, and some will die,, and a significant part of the Democratic caucus will have collaborated with Republicans on this after pointless, extended posturing. It’s bad policy & a bad look.

Attributing every viewpoint you don’t like to antisemitism is a nice way, however, to never think deeply about anything.

Yeah, except now the focus is on Democratic cowardice and incompetence.

It’s not just age. Schumer speaking is a sedative and he has no identifiable principles other than being a genocide apologist. You are so in the cult and detached from reality it’s not worth continuing this exchange.

There was no point in starting a”fight” if you are just going to give up and get squat in return. Trump was getting blamed. Now the story is Democrats are weak. Sanders, Warren, Van Hollen, and Chris Murphy would all be better than the doddering, dull, barely animated corpse that is Schumer.

Counting votes and reading the level of commitment of the caucus is literally the most important job of a caucus leader. There was no new information. These Democrats who voted to end subsidies are cowards and Schumer is awful at his job but you are great at being a knee jerk apologist.

If they were impossible to flip a competent leader would have pushed against a shutdown in the first place because he would have known he didn’t have the votes to sustain. It. It’s hilarious that you are so Blue MAGA that you are rationalizing this hideous failure.

You are terrible at your job. Resign from leadership and retire from the Senate ASAP. The sooner you are gone the better for the country.

You are a useless coward who betrayed millions of Americans and got zero in return. Leave the Senate now. The sooner your regrettable career is forgotten the better.

Predictably Democratic “leaders” were weak and cowardly and grasped defeat from the jaws of victory. And Democratic voters keep reelecting these mummified hacks to serve another term of futility.
