The kidneys regulate EPO based on oxygen levels. In #CKD, impaired sensing leads to anemia. 🏗️ Proximal tubule hypoxia plays a key role, while #HIF and #SGLT2i therapies may restore EPO production. #RenalPhysiology #Anemia
