My little’s luggage was lost. In it was a plush rattle from when she was a baby (Pengie). I’ve called the airline repeatedly, we searched Halifax & Ottawa airports, & I think it’s gone. 1) reminder stuffies go in carryons 😬 2) we’ve googled our fingers off for a replica. Can’t find. Any insights?

I try to practice work-life balance (lol). Yesterday, I met early with collaborators and hammered out a grant draft. I then saw a window to jump on a puffin/whale watching tour. A calf, cow, and bull humpback were so close I could have touched them. 🤩 Leaving with a full heart, both nerd and nature!

I try to practice work-life balance (lol). Yesterday, I met early with collaborators and hammered out a grant draft. I then saw a window to jump on a puffin/whale watching tour. A calf, cow, and bull humpback were so close I could have touched them. 🤩 Leaving with a full heart, both nerd and nature!
The sun is out for the first time in forever, and I meandered over to the new JDUC! It’s beautiful! The trees and flowers have also popped on campus. I was hard pressed to decide which picture for today, but went with sunny architecture! Happy Monday, #YGK! ☀️

As I finally take a moment to grab lunch, I find myself in a quandary. Twitter folks will know that I’m not great with plants. I’ve found a secret sauce, and 2/3 of my office plants are doing great. Do I risk taking them home for the holidays, or commit to coming into work to water every 3 days?

Confession: I haven’t been here as much because I don’t have phone space to download an app, so I use the browser. Removing X will help. The problem: phone is filled with random photos, like this one of a friendly chipmunk at my feet. How does one just “delete” photos?
