A new project, SUSTAIN-Uganda, will tackle Taenia solium in Northern Uganda. Funded by the UK Medical Research Council we’ll work with @ilri.org, @imperialcollegeldn.bsky.social, Makerere University and Gulu University to reduce its health and economic impact. unlimithealth.org/news/2-milli...

Really enjoyed participating in the International Task Force for Disease Eradication at the Carter Centre. The focus was on Taenia solium which causes epilepsy. Significant progress in the field raises the prospect of elimination in certain settings. Look forward to the recommendations. #NTDs
