Vaping opponents have become post truthers, convinced like their political counterparts that blatant dishonesty pays. May be also impressed with how long flagrant dishonesty worked for Big Tobacco @drmarktyndall.bsky.social
I think this is why the social media anti-vaping narrative recently shifted away from objective evidence like official govt surveys, and doubled down on anecdotal fake news about innocent teens who supposedly suffered horrible lung injury after vaping. #FactCheck ANY of those stories and they're BS.
Vaping opponents can’t use evidence to counter arguments made by vape supporters because the evidence so strongly supports vaping. So they rely on smear & fear campaigns, no compunction making up stuff @gfn.events @gregthr.bsky.social @ianamossyd.bsky.social @aliveadvocacy.bsky.social
