One of my fav Where Are They Now stories as Features Editor w/JET mag (10/15/07) featured the cast of What’s Happening! Three years later when I was Senior Writer at EBONY, Dr. Danielle Spencer visited JPC in Chicago. Our D9 sis in Greekdom is now w/the ancestors. Rest easy ❤️🙏🏽

Thirty-eight of 43 experts cut last month from the boards that review the science and research that happens in laboratories at the National Institutes of Health are female, Black or Hispanic, according to an analysis by the chairs of a dozen of the boards.

Scientists, with expertise in fields that include mental health, cancer and infectious disease, typically serve five-year terms and were not given a reason for their dismissal.
