Slava Ukraini - and god bless Volodymyr Zelensky, Europe's bulwark against a Putin invasion. May we all possess that man's courage.

It's not Make America Great Again; it's make America Something It Never Was for the First Time. That is very different from what was campaigned on -- he's trying to remake the country to suit his personal twisted image, an America in which he alone can do what he wants.

Your enemies are counting on you to lose hope. Despair is one of their greatest weapons, for it leads you to stop fighting for yourself. Hold on to hope, no matter how hard it is, and refuse to join your enemy in bringing you down.

We're basically just fighting cartoon villains at this point.

The level of deep greed in Elon Musk, his unquenchable thirst for absolute power, would be funny if it weren't so dangerous. The man is psychologically so, so sick.

And he's taken the entire country hostage.

I lived on national park land for over a decade - in Fort Mason in San Francisco, which is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. There is deep affection in my heart for America's National Parks. I'm just beside myself over what these goons are doing right now.

Headed into the weekend, a gentle reminder that this whirlwind is specifically designed to make us feel exhausted, overwhelmed, resigned, & sapped of energy, and that it is more important now than ever to connect with your community. Hug your family, check on your friends, walk in your neighborhood.

I went to Costco yesterday and became a member :) I'm so here for the Costco love! 💕 Something feels SO GOOD about supporting a company that has such a long history of ethical behavior. Strong pay practices, upholding DEI initiatives, Plan B at the ready ;) GIVE IT UP for Costco, peeps!

Breathe. Embrace your free time. Pour into your community. Respect what you can't control. Reject nihilism. Remember pace and perspective. Burnout is the enemy and helps no one, least of all yourself, and should be stridently avoided. That's the only way we're gonna get through this. And we will.
