Recovering from Long Covid - I think!
He’s surfing the universe. That’s what cats do in their sleep. Who knows where he’s off to?

Russell is not as absorbed in the Budget as I am.

I bet you anything that’s a wig.

Twas the night before Budget.

I’m reading the DWM special on Terry Nation in a coffee shop. A guy behind me suddenly says “that takes me back! The Daleks!”

I’ve done my fannish duty of pointing him towards the iplayer so he can relive his childhood. He was around in 1964 so may have seen it.

Happy Doctor Who Day.

Russell looks very cute here. In fact, I think he’s preparing to sneeze on me. This happens a lot, sometimes with blood from his awful gums. Hopefully, with the teeth out that will improve and I’ll only get covered in snot! I love him so much. I must do. 🙂

Russell, surfing the universe.

Russell update: tormorrow he has all his teeth out!

The PDSA consider him to be my free pet but they’ve just sent me a text recommending a £150 donation. I don’t have those funds.

If anyone can help out please bung me a few quid via my PayPal link - PayPal.me/jonbigger

Thanks in advance!

Today’s UK News in one photo. It’s so hard to work out who the bad guys are….

Until I’m sure, I’m going to rip up my licence fee documents to be on the safe side.

Between lessons Russell and I got to watch PMQs today. I’m not sure which of us was the least impressed.

Yes, and once you’re 7 you can be prime minister.

The magnificent Russell.

Chilling with Russell, the cat I rescued a couple of weeks back.

Russell is doing very well. Another trip to the vet yesterday and another planned for Wednesday next week.

I received a letter from the landlord today putting my tent up by £55 a month. Good grief! I’ve got a hungry extra mouth to feed.

Today I managed to coax the local abandoned cat into my house and into a cat carrier to get him checked at the vet.

He might have to have most of his teeth out. He might be too ill to get through the next few weeks but I’m hopeful. This seems to be his home now.

Horrible people abandoned this lovely cat. I’m in the process of getting close enough to him to take him to the vet. He’s very sweet.
I can’t afford a cat. So naturally I already love him to bits.

If it’s one thing Labour hates it’s the disadvantaged. How despicable.

Every day you just wake up to find that Trump has sunk the world lower under the weight of his own arrogance.

I haven’t read this article but I invite everyone worried about the Trump agenda to spread the word:

Resist Trump - Mar 15 - London - Trafalgar Sq - Noon

I think I’ve regenerated several times in my life so far.

A decade ago I was on campus at Loughborough and heard rumours that the Labour Students were hosting Liam Byrne MP. It was essential for me to find him and ask a few questions about his party’s approach to tuition fees.

I love running into politicians.

First impressions - these are excellent.

I got home to them after a few days away. My dad broke his ankle hiking in Derbyshire. I had to do a rescue mission to collect him and his car and get him back to Lincoln. He’s doing really well. He’ll be 79 soon and there’s no stopping him.
