This piece began in a workshop given by Charles Cameron, guiding us through his pattern “Crooked Crosses and Bent Boxes.” It is the first “all solid” color quilt I have done. It is 30” by 30” so I will hand it on a wall.

Staying on track by holding on to beauty and joy. Visited the Brandywine River Museum to see Andrew Wyeth's watercolors focused on the Maine coast.

Yesterday we took another walk in the nearby Preserve, which has an overlook that has offered a beautiful view every time we have seen it. We are trying to hold on to all that is good and beautiful in a time of hate and ugliness that feels, these days, too unbearable to live through.
