Their explanation so far is that they were gonna build in some redundancy so that a single upstream provider couldn't destroy their platform like this, but it just wasn't shipped yet.

You know, the con pays VRC like 300k every year just for their services to dramatically go down on almost an annual basis.
It's like if you paid to rent the expo center downtown for a weekend, and every year it burned down on Saturday, and all they said back was "next year the price goes up" lmao
