Just completed another watercolor painting, which I call "Autumn Koi." Referenced a kimono book for some visual guidance regarding the stylized water.

Winsor & Newton professional paints and Finetec metallic watercolors. Accented with Uni-Ball Signo white gel pen.

I was working on this FFVI Terra Branford watercolor fanart for a week. It's been a long while since I painted people, but pretty happy with how she turned out. :) This is all traditional physical paper and paint, BTW.

So, Final Fantasy Tactics remaster is out. And while I’m currently unable to play it, I did get the beautiful Collector’s Box, ‘cuz why not? :D

Saw people sharing posts on recent books read or acquired. These are my two recently purchased books. Always had an interest in Japanese family/clan crests and the interest in wagashi is newer.

Since I’m back in my CLAMP - Clover fangirl phase, these two. Gingetsu (cool shades dude) and Kazuhiko (dark-haired dude). A ship I only recently jumped aboard, but they work so well together. :D

Bouncing through some books on my shelf and settled on this YA comfort read from my childhood. I read the first edition in the 90s and this edition in 2005 with updated translation and illustrations is still a treasure.

Finally found a copy of Dwight D. Eisenhower’s autobiography based around his involvement and command in the European theatre of WWII. Last time I saw this book was in high school over two decades ago, which I used for my senior year project. Only read half, especially the section on D-Day.
