I can't stop hearing "United States' Ghost Guard"

I want an honest to goodness primary. Show up there, face Warren and others, no dnc or superdelegates trying to sway. Let’s put someone through the paces. Maybe that’s longing for a day from the past or that never was.

The dozen or so still shrink wrapped board games on the shelf would give minis a run for their money

If you haven’t read the sequel yet, it was the first book I’ve read that made me feel like the author conveyed how a truly alien mind would actually work / feel internally. The third was a little iffy for me personally.

What makes it a stronger recommendation if you *haven’t* seen the show? Do the tones or characters not quite match? I’ve only recently gotten my hands on seasons 9-12 so am back on a bit of a kick

Developer account made and extension published for review. Most therapeutic $5 ever spent.

Okay, this definitely feels good. The NYTimes as not an affront to the senses and it detects new things being added.

It feels slightly unwise to publish this with my primary account. It isn't hard to figure out my real name from this account but I don't want my primary google account shut down.

Ha, some collateral damage with a related but non-offensive image, but I'm liking the substitution of "ASSHOLE" for Orange Man's name.

Hue rotation is slightly amusing but still too recognizable, inverted is less recognizable. Blur is probably the way to go.

I loved the old extension that replaced all instances of "millennials" with "snake people" ("snake people are killing the restaurant industry", things like that. So something like that for text. MDN, what do you have for me for image?

filter - CSS: Cascading Style Sheets | MDN
The filter CSS property applies graphical effects like blur or color shift to an element. Filters are commonly used to adjust the rendering of images, backgrounds, and borders.

No, yeah, urls and alt text. Find all text nodes with what you don't want in them or IMG tags with alt or src attributes containing that text (only works for single words).

Oh! and I'm not ever going to click on it, so find those things and walk up to find links, and burn the links.

But images though. Can't run image recognition in a browser (definitely not on a phone either)...

You could look for images "above" or "next to" offending text but layout is hard and you might snag the wrong images...

URLs maybe? Alt text? Everyone remember to alt text your images.

I clearly don't know how to skeet-thread so I'll just reply to myself.

I actually don't think this would be too hard, like a tree walker and a mutation observer to see for new DOM nodes being inserted that contain the offending name/text.

He’s not too healthy but I was actually wondering what happens if he got 270 and then croaked before the 20th. Is it Vance? Does it go to the house?

My fear is that, as in 2016, there will be great turnout and a popular vote win but an electoral college loss because the ratio of gen z can’t hold back the insanity in the only few states that “matter”
