At our demonstration today, I'm holding a placard stating
"I support
Palestine.
Action
must be taken."
My aim is to highlight the absurdity of the government dictating what can and cannot be said by peace-seeking people

It's #Saturn ring-plane crossing day! A once in a 13-15 yr event when Saturn's rings are edge on, as viewed from Earth, making them appear to disappear! I'm so infuriated that the Sun is in the way meaning no-one will see it! 😡 We'll just have to imagine it 😞

In the context of the lesson for politicians, I think you will find the findings of Oxford's Citizens' Assembly on traffic interesting to read -

A Citizens’ Assembly of Oxfordshire residents has called for “making the city centre car-free”, turning other existing roads over to buses, cyclists and Blue Badge holders, and housing developments with major facilities in walking distance—each topping 85% support. oxfordclarion.uk/citizens-ass...

Long Read: A Plea for Plausible Polling

Recent FindOutNow polling has been obvious bollocks. Scotland doesn't get enough polling that we can afford to have complete rubbish distorting our discourse.

By-Election Result analysis: Bannockburn

Labour go fully into reverse, resulting in the first genuine SNP gain in a very long time, and surely calling time on a local administration now consisting of just 4 members.

Vehicle regulations aspire to improve safety, but it is clear that the overall effect has been to prioritise the safety of occupants to the detriment of vulnerable road users.
One reason I think it’s important to continue to highlight the disparity on our streets is that most people just don’t see it.

Despite it being obvious to some, so many people don't have clarity because we have done such an incredible job of normalizing this imbalance.

Despite all of the challenges - legal and meteorological - we did it!

Police no longer describing road collisions as ‘accidents’ – but over two-thirds still refer to vehicles instead of drivers, new research finds
Just five of the UK’s 45 police forces have formally adopted the Road Collision Reporting Guidelines launched in 2021, with only one using them in practice
