ICE stripped a German green card holder naked, drove him from Boston to Vermont to Rhode Island, put him in a cold shower, deprived him of medication, sleep and food until he collapsed.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.
Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

College kids helped get Joe Biden elected, and then he betrayed that support by funding and arming an apartheid regime thirsty for genocide. The kids protested the atrocities, and Dems across the country sic'd militarized police on them. The fault lays not at the feet of the children.
