On 3/11 Monday/Tuesday at 12am I suffered a couple of strokes. It affected my motor and speech centers.
I was treated and released on Wednesday afternoon.
I'm doing well but wanted to share.

I applied for a real grown up job. I have the encouragement of a couple important folks. I'm absolutely sick with nerves. This is one of those potentially life changing things.

People ask "what's your toxic trait?" But how about the flipside? What's your TONIC trait? The wholesome thing you do that is the opposite of destructive for yourself or others?

Doing an employee staff pick at my theater soon. I wanted my beloved 1984 Dune, but due to legal bullshit it's unavailable.
Instead I'm excited to be showing Blue Velvet.
I've never seen it on the big screen so I'm genuinely pumped.

My favorite thing I've drawn in a very long time. A Hand of Glory. A gruesome artifact said to magically open any lock and cast light for only the person holding it among other other properties.

Finally figured out what issue of Incredible Hulk I read to absolute pieces as a kid.
Got issue 315 from the spinner rack at Kroger.
That opening couple of pages blew my wee little mind. I have absolutely zero recollection of the cover though.

The new Aesop Rock single made me revisit his Spirit World Field guide from a couple years ago and I deeply wish this was an actual text or comic.

I find it quite disappointing that nature has seen fit for us to lose moisture through our skin yet not hydrate the same way.
