What’s an obscure/less talked about comics run that you find is a marker of exquisite taste and instant friendship in someone else who likes it?

I would totally read a comic book based on the guy from the final clue of this jumble

Never been much, or any, of a sports fan, but this is quite interesting.

For me, this was one of the most difficult of your holy books to find in English. I don't know why. It's not bad. Much rather read it than a bible least ways

On page 74, "You will not, of course, choose 'causing death' in any literal sense." Guess it makes sense, after it spent big chunks of the book telling you to chant while imagining severed heads and women's genitalia, to give a gentle disclaimer that you shouldn't really go on a murder spree.

Must've be coming on 20 years I delivered pizza... back then I used to listen to the Serge Gainsbourg album Percussions over and over. Never did know where those beats came from until I recently picked up an album of Nigerian drumming almost at random

Sometimes what you're looking for is right in front of you. I'd been looking and looking for books with art by this Artzybasheff guy and, lo and behold, it was right there on my shelf all the time, he did the illustrations for Dr. Lao

Took me a while to come across this one. Don't know why. I feel like a new Pinkwater should be as exciting as a new Pynchon

Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't nirvana, soundgarden, pearl jam, or alice in chains.

Like to read what Christians think about the movie Johnny Got His Gun. For me, Sutherland's role was the best portrayal of Jesus onscreen. Not an inscrutable prophet. More like a buddy. A guy you could play cards with, would listen to you, accept you, and there for you when everything else fails
