Like every other time the Right has openly performed fascist salutes or used Neo-Nazi rhetoric or behaved as cryptofascists, there is going to be a lot of claiming it wasn't intentional or it's just people being irrational.

My complaint with this approach is that it assumes that we must work within the two-party system, which is a byproduct of our first-past-the-post system for determining the winner. I would rather work to make third-party candidates viable. For example, we could work to expand ranked-choice voting.
