Can I interest you in the H rapid ride?
February 14, 2026 at 2:57 AM
If no one gets to you on this I already have a took dragging up bike counter data, I can probably poke at this.

Which bike counter?
February 10, 2026 at 2:05 AM
I’ll never drive to Alki, if we somehow make cycling more dangerous I’ll just never go. And I visit once a week in winter

Wild that this big tough man is so afraid of a little unincorporated area of king county.
February 6, 2026 at 7:52 PM
I often joke about doing a weekly critical mass ride on beach drive to Alki until this happens

What’s the source on this?

I think she was the one to ban me because she was claiming that the constellation park changes were ableist and I called her disingenuous for using ADA population as a nimby cudgel when pedestrianisation actual benefits folks with mobility devices proportionally more.

You catch this gem on the blog post about the levy projects?
February 3, 2026 at 4:34 PM
This makes me sad I got banned from that group for… defending the constellation park healthy street changes. I’m sure I’d have been banned since for shit just like this tho.

There is a nice Mountain View behind it, but to to call this lot “neighborhood feel” on the worst cross walk on California seems a bit disingenuous. Perfect spot for some more housing, short walk to junction and a coffee shop across the street.
February 3, 2026 at 4:25 PM
Never mind the attached parking lot.

This ride gave me a refreshed view of what our streets could be like if we invested in people more. Reviving downtown isn’t hanging stringlights; it’s giving the streets back to the people!

I bike Delridge out of protest.
January 31, 2026 at 6:34 AM
I do this now. Last summer, or maybe earlier, sdot was out gathering opinions at white center pride and delridge farmers market to get feedback on the highland parkway lane changes and I made a point to always stop and show my support.

Abandon us? They’ll swap uniforms. SPD froths at the mouth at the opportunity to brutalize us seattleites.
January 24, 2026 at 5:51 PM
This is the shit that might get me to buy a gun.
January 24, 2026 at 5:29 PM
If we could get a better connection to Georgetown town after the 1st Ave bridge that’d be brilliant as well. Getting dumped on east marginal is a godawful experience.
January 23, 2026 at 8:41 PM
Hard disagree. Just going up to junction along 35th today a woman was trying to cross the street. It was the. I noticed how dangerous it was and how few cross walks exist on 35th.
January 23, 2026 at 4:56 AM
I was just biking thru there earlier today to enjoy the sun. 15th and beacon is awful.
January 17, 2026 at 9:11 AM
I’m dubious on Sakas record on safety. In his district there have been multiple shootings in the last week, beg buttons are out on the 17th healthy street. Major police chase on 16th this weekend ended in 3 total cars and luckily no loss of life. That’s just the last 7 days top of mind.

Yes but redundancy!
January 15, 2026 at 6:01 PM
Honestly, DT, cap hill, stadiums, Belltown team loop.
