They say this like I'm supposed to be... Sad or something? Seems to me that you shouldn't have to explain reaping what you sow to a farmer.
Thousands of farmers and small rural businesses remain in limbo as the Trump USDA demands grant rewrites favoring fossil fuels over renewables. The move has left some farmers perplexed, and doubtful that they’ll ever get the grant money they were promised

How heartbreakingly... symbolic.
Inspired by the social justice movement in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, Salt Lake City’s Fleet Block building contained over 20 murals, and became a rallying spot for grieving families and demonstrations.

It was torn down earlier this month. The city said the murals could not be preserved.

"Most insane" SO FAR.
this is great and gets to what might be the defining attribute of this administration which is that trump himself is barely aware of what is happening
One thing that most people are missing in the group text scandal: The Trump officials don’t appear clear on what *exactly* Trump approved, which is a huge problem in using military force. Stephen Miller says “as I heard it … green light.” 😱😬 www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/six-short-...

"Materialities" features the work of 14 artists and collaboratives, most based in Chicago, many having made new sculptures for the Driehaus. That matters because, as the title suggests, the show is premised on an engagement with the materials out of which the mansion was constructed and decorated.
