Watching a live stream of the fireworks in Paris. This might be the best New Year's display I've ever seen. Not just the fireworks, but everything leading up to them. The projections on the Arc de Triomphe were pure eye candy. It's been such a creative, inventive, visual pleasure I have goosebumps.

Work xmas party. Only 2 other women here. They seem to be competing with each other for how little they can eat. They say things in front of the men like, "OMG, I'm so full," while nibbling celery sans dip. Meanwhile, I'm shoving chips & stuffed olives in my face & eyeing up the dessert table. Yum!
