Good thing I've been on Thunderbird for most of a year, but this pisses me off. Gutting existing features in order to use me as meat for their training machine is textbook enshittification and it's just exhausting.

How many will die from lack of insurance before then?

Fighting the fascists by killing the most vulnerable among us for political points is a lousy own-goal kind of tactic.

I am. So tired.

Took me a few minutes to stop being grumpy about it. Tasted okay at the center in tasting, but would definitely _not_ directly substitute for a pumpkin pie even if cooked correctly.

Still trying to decide what to do with this knowledge.

Realistically I was a game ahead and who knows what would've happened if Crim wasn't also learning the game from near-zero. But it was fun!

Played Tend a second time today with my better half, and the pain of learning paid off.

Two players is a lot better than one, and knowing what you're doing makes it move a lot faster, and in my case having a feel for the balance of points let me score more effectively. Maybe.

Unfortunately, I put it in the oven, set the timer, and then started playing Vantage.

2 hours later my brain went 'Hey. where the _hell_ did my timer go'. Clearly I turned it off mindlessly and forgot.

So that attempt is dead as a doornail. I'll try again next week sometime.

The real question I have is how often I'll get to play it, and if it'll stick with me.
