idk why so many players AND blizzard alike have this idea that faction conflict = BFA level of war and bloodshed

the factions can just…. Have different interests and cultures they want to maintain? maybe at odds with the other factions interest? it’s not all or nothing

Sometimes dying on that hill is way more compelling to play out than the ridges and valleys of a person in flux

Makes interacting with characters/RPers who do get it thrilling

Not in the power fantasy sense, but the "I'm a ghost flickering through the ages, I'm a walking paradox of being both untethered to the world of mortals races but nevertheless brimming with unadulterated awe/love/hatred for them"

i swear torkazi's hairline is worse than what the art implies

befriending would be farcical for both sides so

behold her mettle against some guards, and then a cheeky magic binding while she's distracted

yeah that's slimy enough

Incan terrace farms. I can't understand how they didn't go for these along those playdoh mountains

Whereas in BFA Zul's goons can't shut up about how much they love blood and hate the Loa

Yeah but even then you didn't hear the Defias yelling "for Onyxia!! The Dragons will rule the world!"

Though in the case of that tooltip it's defo Dazar'alor!!!
November 2, 2025 at 3:18 PM
It's so wishywashy, but Blizzard's fault not being clear - Dazar'alor (in-universe) is the great pyramid in the centre of Zuldazar, the city itself - naming the whole zone as Zuldazar was a gamey necessity I guess

And it's not just Zul; he held real ideological and political sway that appeared to strike a chord with the Zandalari populace - it wasn't just a dumbing down of Zul and Rastakhan, but rather the entire society of Zandalar itself that got washed clean with the excuse of "Old Gods corrupted em"

This may be the most direct verbalization that the elves stole the land in the whole expansion so far - but yeah, let's hope Arator doesn't go on to straight up resolve the conflict beyond fighting back the greater evil

As it stands I don't know why I'd do any of this. Its just a quest where you storm the poor part of town and kick the shit out of people for seeking the same powers the cop you're with indulged in ten times over.

Even beyond my lock its just not appealing lol
